It's summer guys!
Except it's cloudy. Boo.
But, never fear! Alex is here! I'm going to give you some ideas of what to do on a cloudy summer day, for outdoors and indoors. Even when it's cloudy, it's always nice to get out and get some fresh air :)
Indoors:
1. Have some hot cocoa! On gloomy days, hot cocoa is so appropriate and it always warms my tummy :)
2. Watch some good ol' TV. Don't watch for too long, because you probably need to be productive XD Right now I'm watching Doctor Who on Netflix and it is the bomb diggity. So, if you have Netflix and don't know what to watch, watch some Doctor Who! You could even rent a movie and invite some friends over.
3. Read! I have to do summer reading for my new school, and I'm reading 'The Giver'. It's a nice book, and the assignment with the reading isn't very hard. But anywho, just pick up a book from your library or one that you own and haven't read in ages (we all probably have one of those).
4. Bake. Bake something! If you don't want to go outside, do something fun inside!
5. Play a board game or just a game in general. You can go online and play a virtual game, or play a board game with a friend or sibling. There are some really awesome board games out there, and some of my favorites are Apples to Apples, Clue, Settlers, and so on. You could even make a puzzle. Puzzles frustrate me, though. Haha, seriously. I can't do 1000 piece puzzles for the life of me.
6. Make something. Go on a crafts website or on youtube and create something. It'll give you something to do that's fun and useful. :)
There are so many more, so just think, think, think, or get ideas from anywhere else. Be imaginative!Outdoors:
*if it isn't raining
1. Go running/jogging*. Cloudy weather is the perfect running weather! Not too cold, not too hot, just like Goldilock's porridge.
2. Hang out with some friends. Enjoy that it isn't too hot, and do something in the cool weather. I'm meeting with some friends in 45 minutes, and we're going to be outside, talking, playing games, etc.
Ok that was pathetic, but my brain is fried. As long as it isn't raining you can do pretty much anything outside that doesn't involve tanning. :)
Ciao,
Alex
